About

About Akvera

Akvera is a platform for technical continuous assurance. It checks technical security controls directly in the systems where they live, and keeps the evidence behind every result traceable.

Why it exists

Many compliance and audit processes still rest on screenshots, manual exports and point-in-time evidence. Akvera takes a different approach: technical security controls are verified directly in the underlying IT and security systems.

How it works

The platform connects read-only to your existing systems, evaluates defined technical controls, and keeps the evidence needed to trace each result back to its source.

Our focus

The first focus is technical security and compliance requirements in hybrid IT environments, for organizations in the DACH region.

Where we are

Akvera is pre-release software. We are currently preparing the first design-partner pilots.

Who is behind it

Akvera is built by Mohamed Akil.

What we hold ourselves to

  • Missing evidence does not become PASS.
  • Partial coverage does not become complete coverage.
  • Akvera prefers UNKNOWN over false certainty.
  • Technical controls should be provable from source systems.
  • Evidence should be minimal, traceable and verifiable.

No green without evidence

Akvera does not claim that a control is met when there is no sufficient technical evidence. Missing permissions, incomplete coverage or unavailable data are shown openly instead of turning into a green result.

Akvera is not a certification authority and does not replace your auditor.

What Akvera is not.

  • Not another questionnaire platform.
  • Not a policy generator.
  • Not a certification authority.
  • Not a replacement for your auditor.

Akvera focuses on the technical evidence layer underneath compliance.
